COVID-19

MORGAN COUNTY ON-GOING BUSINESS OPERATIONS

Click here for Phase 4 Guidelines for Opening up Businesses

We recognize the need for individuals to get outside and exercise especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.  Morgan County has several beautiful parks and recreation facilities.  At this time we have closed all County owned children's play structures and picnic pavilions. Resources to continually sanitize these facilities are not currently available.  Ball fields, rifle range, and pickle-ball courts remain open.  Please remind your youth that social distancing must still be practiced while using these facilities, those found not practicing social distancing will be asked to leave.

Morgan County Parks, East Canyon State Park, and Lost Creek Reservoir Recreation Area are all currently open.  Please note that play structures and picnic pavilions are closed.  We encourage practicing social distancing when using recreational facilities within Morgan County in order to ensure that these facilities can remain open.

The Weber-Morgan Health Department is the lead agency in the County for information regarding the COVID-19 pandemic.  Morgan County Council and Morgan County Emergency Management are working closely with the Weber-Morgan Health Department.  We encourage everyone to follow the direction of the Morgan-Weber Health Department, information may be found on the newly created website: www.WeberMorganHealth.org

Morgan County offices remain open for business. Whenever possible we ask that you conduct business via our website at www.morgan-county.net.   In order to ensure prompt service, if you do need to visit the office in person, we ask that you please call and make an appointment with the department that you wish to visit ahead of time. If you are sick or are showing any signs of sickness, please stay home.
