• MORGAN COUNTY FOOD PANTRY

Morgan County Food Pantry, located at 48 West Young St. is open Tuesday’s and Thursday’s from 8am until 5pm.
The Food Pantry is open for Morgan County residents who need additional help.

DWS Personnel will be available in Morgan once a month for your convenience, to answer questions and complete applications for Food Stamps, Medicaid, Voc Rehab and other programs available that may meet your needs.  Please call 845-4009 to make an appointment.

• FREE TAX PREPARATION

Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) is a program offering FREE tax preparation assistance to households earning less than $38,000.00.

• H.E.A.T.  PROGRAM                                                         

HEAT stands for Home Energy Assistance Target.  Its purpose is to assist eligible households meet the rising costs of home energy.  HEAT is a federally funded Energy Assistance Program that is administered by the State of Utah through the Department of Community and Culture (DCC).

• WEATHERIZATION 

The WEATHERIZATION Program helps qualify low-income persons to make their homes more energy efficient by providing home energy evaluations, insulation, air sealing, furnace repairs and emergency furnace replacements.  This program is also administered by DCC.  Eligibility is consistent with the HEAT Program requirements.

• The Department of Workforce Services (DWS)  connects job seekers to jobs, whether you are looking for an entry-level position, or looking to change careers.

Weber County Employment Opportunities are posted on the bulletin board in the Morgan County Building next to Rm#14.

• MEDICATION ASSISTANCE:

Many Pharmaceutical Companies offer free assistance programs to those that meet the financial criteria.
