Fee Schedule for
Morgan City and Morgan County Residents

LICENSE FEES:

Proof of rabies vaccine required upon licensing

Senior citizen owners $10.00 per dog, lifetime license
(60 years old and above) Non transferable to another dog

All other owners $8.00 per dog if spayed or neutered
$16.00 per dog, if unaltered

Late Fees: City: $10.00 per dog after January 31st
County: $30.00 per dog after Jan. 31st

Duplicate Tag: $3.00 each tag

IMPOUND FEES:

$25.00, per dog for the first time in a 12 month period

$50.00, per dog for the second time in a 12 month period

$100.00, per dog for third time in a 12 month period

KENNELING FEE:

$10.00 per day/per dog

KENNEL LICENSE:
(for more than 2 dogs)

Granted by Morgan City Council for city residents and Morgan County Council for county residents. Application must be made through the Planning and Zoning Department.

Renewal due every year at licensing time.
